We are often asked "Who was Cliff Pratt?"

Cliff took up cycling in 1927 and remained committed to the ideals of cycling all his life. As well as setting up the eponymous cycle shop, he was a key man in the CTC (Cyclists Touring Club) and organiser of the then hugely popular York Rally.

Originally based at 84-86 the shop moved across the road to 61 to a much larger premises,Allowing us to carry much larger ranges of products and also increase our workshop capacity

The Shop is a proud Sponsor of local Road,Timetrial and duathlon events,and also supports it's own race teams.
