| Description | Super Aero Rim Shape features wider external dimensions for a maximum aerodynamic advantage in the most common wind directions. The sleek and ultralight 1K carbon composite creates a stiff and stable wheel structure with class-leading torsional and lateral stiffness. Precision machined CADEX R3-C40 aero hub significantly reduces bearing load, and CADEX ceramic bearings produce 1.5 times less friction than steel bearings. Increased rim bead width of up to 3mm per side enhances rim stiffness, offering better support for tires when cornering and improving air transition from the tire sidewall to the wheel to improve aerodynamics. A 22.4mm inner rim width and durable continuous carbon fiber structure creates a rounder tire shape for superior grip and handling as well as added sidewall support when cornering, all without compromising weight. CADEX 1K Carbon Weave - A premium carbon fiber fabric with bundles of 1,000 filaments woven in two directions providing a smoother finish and lighter weight. CADEX Ceramic Bearings - Durable, ultra-hard ceramic bearings further increase hub rolling efficiency with lower rolling resistance and 1.5x smoother action than steel bearings. Hookless Rim Design - Provides the best flow transition from the tyre to the sidewall of the rim, resulting in reduced aerodynamic loss when compared to standard hook bead rims, and featuring a continuous carbon fibre structure enhancing overall durability. CADEX Precision Reinforced Layup - CADEX precision reinforced layup places high tensile strength carbon fiber only where needed, creating a strong, stiff structure at minimal weight. CADEX R3-C40 Aero Hub - Aero optimized hub features 3rd generation CADEX Low-Friction internals with CADEX ceramic bearings and 40-tooth ratchet engagement. |
