The Pipisquallo tread is for fast wet courses. It has a profile with extra high studs for extremely good grip. Thanks to the design of the profile, it has a good loosening effect on the mud. Despite the open structure of the profile, the tread has a low rolling resistance. The Pipistrello tread is for extremely fast circuits. The open diamonds allow you to maintain a good grip on both a sandy surface and a grass surface. The two lines (radius control) on the side ensure that the tube has a cutting effect on sandy surfaces. The cotton casing with high TPI (thread-per-inch) offers excellent puncture resistance, elasticity, rolling resistance and handling in corners. Neoprene is a 0.1 mm-thick protection silica coating applied to the casing to extend the lifetime by preventing the tyre casing to absorb humidity and mud.
